V704 AERO VITA 100 GSM (WOVEN) (Diamond)
- Performance Italian woven aerodynamic fabric
- Excellent wicking and breathability
- UPF50+ sun protection
- 74% POLYESTER 26% ELASTANE
Features:
- The most important one is definitely aerodynamics. In fact, it has been conceived to enhance the aerodynamic performance at a speed ranging from 30km/h up to 45km/h. The supplier carried out a few tests in the wind tunnel, in cooperation with the Engineering University in Milan, and developed this fabric to be used in specific parts of a cycling jersey, such as, for example, in the sleeves and in the upper parts of the shoulders.
- The aero design is not simply printed or embossed on the fabric but it's woven in it. This means it is very durable and will last for the whole life of the garment, without loosing any of its aero benefits. In addition to that, the patterns are developed so that you can cut them all over. As you can imagine, during the normal use, it's very important to have a pattern which always performs correctly in all conditions, regardless the direction of the wind.
- The fabric in itself is very soft and it's perfect to be used in long rides of 4/5/6 hours. The rider has a great comfort sensation thanks to the microfiber hand touch.
- If you compare it with a knitted fabric, you can immediately notice the difference in terms of aerodynamic properties. In fact, a knitted fabric is, by structure, more open than a woven and consequently, the air is naturally entrapped in the fabric, leading to a very poor aero performance. Whereas with the wovens, the structure is much tighter and no air can pass through it. Consequently the aerodynamic performance of the jersey results to be always at maximum levels!
